Wednesday morning Dr. Jo Anne Lyon recognized those who have faithfully served on the General Board for a number of years, including Charles Joiner, who has served for 44 years.
On June 8, at General Conference, new General Superintendent Dr. Wayne Schmidt, the other five general officers, and the 24 area representatives on the General Board were installed.
On June 7, at the 2016 General Conference in Buffalo, N.Y., the following area representatives of the General Board of The Wesleyan Church were elected and will serve the Church for the next 4 years.
