PATHWAY TO MULTIPLYING
We are elated you have sensed a call from God to become a multiplying church!
The enthusiastic, continual planting of new faith communities is the single most crucial strategy for 1) the numerical growth of the body of Christ, and 2) the continual corporate renewal and revival of the existing churches in a city. The Wesleyan Church believes we need all kinds of churches to reach all kinds of people. These new churches are not only new places where people can worship, but they are new outposts designed to reach the lost and make disciples that make disciples. The opportunities below are designed to resource your church and point you in the right direction in order to become a healthy multiplying church. We are fully aware every church’s path to multiplication may require customization and innovation. At any point in the process, feel free to contact our CMC team for additional guidance.
A multiplying or sending church is responsible for church plants until they are self-sustaining, self-governing, and self-propagating.
One multiplying church expression gaining traction is the multi-site strategy.
Have you ever wondered if God has gifted you to be a church planter? We’d love to help you discover God’s unique call on your life!

The single command that Jesus gave his followers before igniting a movement was “Do not leave Jerusalem, but wait for the gift my Father promised…” He was telling them to wait for and then move with the Spirit. In 2022, we’ll discover a growing awareness of the Spirit’s work and leadership while also realizing that we will always be more effective if we move with the Holy Spirit. REGISTER HERE
A church planting residency is an intensive 1-year immersion program designed to prepare a church planter to effectively launch a new life-giving church. Residents will be given hands on ministry opportunities along with preparatory coaching and training established by sending church pastors.
