Ana Gladys Chacon of El Monte, California, passed away July 7. She served as assistant pastor of El Monte Wesleyan Christian Church, Distrito Hispano Suroeste de La Iglesia Wesleyana.
Pastor Ana was also the wife of Rev. Edgar Chacon, district superintendent of the Distrito Hispano Suroeste de La Iglesia Wesleyana. The couple also served as missionaries in Spain from 1990 – 1995, where they founded a Bible school.
A celebration of the life of Ana Chacon will be held Tuesday, July 17 at 7:00 p.m. at Templo de Poder Church (1800 S. Gramercy Pl, Los Angeles, CA 90019). A farewell celebration will be held Wednesday, July 18, at 9:00 a.m. at Regency Christian Center International (7038 Pickering Ave, Whittier, CA 90602). A homegoing ceremony will be held July 18 at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Hills Memorial Park (3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601).
