Nearly 3,000 attend Momentum at IWU

Indiana Wesleyan University recently hosted the Momentum Youth Conference on campus, hosting 3,000 middle and high school students and staff from across the U.S. Held annually now for 75 years, CE National produces Momentum to “help students develop and deepen their relationships with God, as well as teach and equip them to live out their faith.”

Dr. Everett Piper, president of Oklahoma Wesleyan University, will serve as a presenter at Reclaiming America for Christ, the 10th annual conference that will be held in Moore, Okla.

SWU offering scholarships to Charleston victim’s children

DePayne Middleton-Doctor, a victim of the Charleston, S.C., shooting June 17, left behind four children. Southern Wesleyan University has offered full tuition scholarships to those children. Middleton-Doctor worked as a university employee at SWU’s Charleston campus.

Cornerstone Wesleyan Church is believed to be the first church east of Ontario that is using solar energy.

Rugby clubrooms to be converted into a church

Well-known rugby clubrooms have recently been purchased by The Well, a church planted by the New Zealand Wesleyan Methodist Church. The clubrooms will be converted into a church.
